As an engineer, you will be responsible for developing and improving our production processes and translating customer products into a feasible and efficient production process at our Dordrecht site. You will work in a dynamic environment where high-volume (repetitive production) and low-volume (complex assemblies) come together. This means that one day you will be optimising processes and the next you will be devising technical solutions for customer-specific products.

General

• You will work closely with the production and quality departments, as well as our clients Quooker and Sunshower.

• You will draw up work instructions, test methods and documentation.
• You will set up and maintain our ERP system to ensure that the technical records remain accurate.
• You will ensure that processes are robust and feasible for staff with varying levels of experience.
• You will carry out analyses and report on improvements.
• You will take part in organisation-wide projects.
  
  
  

High volume (repetitive production)

• You will analyse and improve production processes, focusing on flow, efficiency and quality.

• You will optimise processes and reduce waste.

• You will increase process stability and embed improvements in working methods and instructions.

• You monitor performance and manage output, quality and lead times.

Low volume (complex assemblies)

• You analyse products and assess their manufacturability.

• You translate customer designs into an efficient production process.
• You develop technical solutions, tools and working methods.
• You oversee the introduction of new products.
